Our Approach
How We Fulfill Our Kingdom Mandate
At Shekinah Apostolic Ministries International, our approach is biblical, apostolic, prophetic, relational, transformational, and practical.
We do not measure ministry success only by attendance, programs, or religious activity. We seek to develop transformed people who know God intimately, understand their Kingdom identity, grow in spiritual maturity, build healthy families, serve their communities, and influence nations.
Our approach addresses the whole person, spiritually, emotionally, relationally, practically, and economically, because we believe the Gospel of the Kingdom transforms every area of life.
Our ministry pathway can be summarized in seven movements
Encounter · Evangelize · Establish · Restore · Equip · Empower · Send
1.Encountering God’s Presence
Transformation begins with an encounter with God.
We cultivate environments in which people can experience God through prayer, worship, biblical teaching, fellowship, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. We believe that genuine encounters with God lead to repentance, salvation, healing, deliverance, renewed identity, and a deeper desire to live according to His will.
We do not seek spiritual experiences merely for emotional excitement. Every genuine encounter should draw people closer to Jesus Christ, establish them in truth, produce godly character, and prepare them for fruitful service.
“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
2.Evangelizing With the Gospel of the Kingdom
We proclaim Jesus Christ and the Gospel of the Kingdom to people of every culture, language, nationality, and social background.
Our evangelistic approach goes beyond inviting people to attend church. We meet people where they are, share the love and truth of Christ, respond to their needs, and invite them into a transformed life under the lordship of Jesus.
We evangelize through:
- Personal relationships and individual witness
- Church services and community outreach
- Missions and church planting
- Digital platforms and media
- Books, teachings, and other Kingdom resources
- Compassionate and humanitarian service
- Cross-cultural and multilingual ministry
We believe evangelism must lead to discipleship. Our goal is not simply to obtain decisions, but to help people become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
3.Establishing Believers Through Discipleship
After people encounter Christ, they need biblical foundations, spiritual community, and guidance for growth.
We establish believers through systematic teaching, relational discipleship, prayer, fellowship, mentoring, and practical obedience to God’s Word.
Our discipleship process helps believers understand:
- Salvation and their new identity in Christ
- The Kingdom of God and the lordship of Jesus
- Prayer, worship, and intimacy with God
- The authority and application of Scripture
- The ministry and gifts of the Holy Spirit
- Kingdom character and healthy relationships
- Spiritual warfare, healing, and freedom
- Stewardship, service, and personal responsibility
- Their spiritual gifts, purpose, and calling
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
We desire to see every believer move from spiritual infancy into maturity, and from simply receiving ministry into serving and developing others.
4.Restoring the Whole Person
Many people come to Christ carrying wounds from rejection, betrayal, abandonment, displacement, grief, abuse, broken relationships, failure, poverty, or other painful experiences.
We believe God desires to restore the whole person. Our approach creates room for people to receive spiritual freedom, emotional healing, relational restoration, renewed dignity, and practical support.
This work may include:
- Pastoral care and spiritual guidance
- Prayer for healing and deliverance
- Biblical counseling and emotional support
- Marriage and family strengthening
- Forgiveness and reconciliation
- Healthy boundaries and personal responsibility
- Support during grief, crisis, and major life transitions
- Referral to qualified professional services when appropriate
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
We do not encourage people to deny their pain or pretend that everything is well. We help them bring wounded areas under the truth, grace, healing, and government of God.
5.Equipping Believers for Ministry and Leadership
We believe every believer has a place, a gift, and a responsibility within the Body of Christ.
Through teaching, mentoring, practical ministry experience, and leadership development, we equip people to serve effectively and mature in their calling.
We recognize the fivefold ministry gifts (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) as Christ’s provision for equipping His people. We therefore identify, train, mentor, and release leaders according to their calling, character, spiritual gifts, preparation, and proven faithfulness.
Our leadership development emphasizes:
- Christlike character
- Biblical knowledge and sound doctrine
- Prayer and spiritual discipline
- Servant leadership
- Integrity and accountability
- Healthy relationships
- Practical competence
- Cultural understanding
- Teamwork and delegation
- Responsible use of spiritual authority
- Reproduction and succession
“For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
We believe spiritual gifting must be accompanied by character, maturity, wisdom, and accountability.
6.Empowering People for Purposeful Living
Kingdom transformation must reach beyond the walls of the church.
We help people apply biblical principles to their families, education, professions, businesses, finances, health, relationships, and community responsibilities. We want believers to become spiritually mature, practically equipped, economically responsible, and capable of contributing to the well-being of others.
Our empowerment approach includes:
- Education and skills development
- Financial stewardship and financial intelligence
- Ethical entrepreneurship
- Career and professional development
- Kingdom enterprise and cooperative initiatives
- Real-estate and housing strategies
- Family stability and generational planning
- Community service and compassionate action
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth.”
Through initiatives such as the Kingdom Enterprise Network, we encourage entrepreneurs, professionals, investors, and emerging leaders to develop sustainable solutions, create opportunities, build ethical enterprises, and use their resources to advance Kingdom and humanitarian work. We do not promote prosperity as selfish accumulation. We teach stewardship, productivity, generosity, responsibility, and the use of resources for God’s purposes.
7.Sending Believers to Transform Their World
Every believer is called to represent the Kingdom of God wherever they are placed.
We prepare and release people to serve within the Church and carry godly influence into their homes, workplaces, businesses, schools, professions, communities, and nations.
Some are sent to plant churches. Others are sent into education, business, government, healthcare, media, arts, humanitarian service, counseling, community development, or family ministry. The assignment may differ, but the purpose remains the same: to reveal the character, wisdom, love, justice, and transforming power of God’s Kingdom.
“As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
Our goal is not to gather everyone around one leader. It is to develop and release many mature Kingdom representatives who can disciple others and multiply the work.
An Apostolic and Prophetic Approach
As an apostolic and prophetic ministry, we seek to combine strong biblical foundations with sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
Our apostolic dimension emphasizes doctrine, order, discipleship, leadership development, church planting, mission, and the establishment of lasting Kingdom structures.
Our prophetic dimension emphasizes intimacy with God, spiritual discernment, prayer, worship, revelation, encouragement, direction, and sensitivity to what the Holy Spirit is saying and doing.
These dimensions must work together. Apostolic order without the Spirit can become rigid, while spiritual activity without sound foundations can become unstable. We pursue both biblical order and spiritual vitality under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
A Relational and Multicultural Approach
Shekinah Apostolic Ministries International is a spiritual family, not merely an organization.
We value relationships characterized by love, honor, truth, humility, accountability, forgiveness, and mutual responsibility. People grow best when they are known, supported, challenged, and given opportunities to contribute.
As an international and multicultural ministry, we welcome people from different nations, languages, cultures, generations, and backgrounds. We seek unity without erasing diversity, and biblical transformation without requiring cultural uniformity.
We reject racism, tribalism, discrimination, favoritism, manipulation, and every practice that diminishes human dignity.
Serving Refugees, Immigrants, and Vulnerable Families
Our founders’ experience as refugees has shaped our compassion for displaced people, immigrants, former refugees, minorities, and families beginning again in unfamiliar environments.
From our headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, we seek to support successful integration by responding to spiritual, emotional, relational, and practical needs.
Our approach is not limited to temporary assistance. We desire to help people move:
- From isolation to belonging
- From crisis to stability
- From dependency to empowerment
- From woundedness to increasing wholeness
- From surviving to purposeful living
- From receiving help to helping others
Through Kingdom Mercy Hands and other compassionate initiatives, we serve vulnerable people without discrimination and seek to preserve their dignity while strengthening their capacity for the future.
Local Presence and Global Reach
Our permanent headquarters at 4308 Pearl Road in Cleveland, Ohio, provides a base for worship, prayer, discipleship, leadership training, community service, compassionate ministry, economic empowerment, and international missions.
At the same time, our approach remains global. We strengthen ministry relationships, develop leaders, support Kingdom initiatives, and advance the Gospel through in-person and digital ministry in the United States, Africa, and beyond.
We use a hybrid approach that combines:
- Local church ministry
- In-person training and conferences
- International missions
- Online teaching and discipleship
- Digital publications and media
- Leadership networks and strategic partnerships
- Community and humanitarian initiatives
This enables the ministry to remain locally rooted while extending its reach across geographical boundaries.
How We Measure Transformation
We value numerical growth, but numbers alone do not define success. We look for evidence of genuine Kingdom transformation:
- People reconciled to God
- Believers established in biblical truth
- Spiritual and emotional healing
- Christlike character
- Stronger marriages and families
- Healthy and accountable leaders
- Active disciples making other disciples
- Refugees and immigrants successfully integrated
- Ethical businesses and sustainable initiatives developed
- Vulnerable people served with dignity
- Churches planted and strengthened
- Communities positively influenced
- Kingdom work multiplied across nations
Our approach is ultimately about moving people from encounter to maturity, from maturity to service, and from service to transformational influence.
We encounter God, establish people, equip leaders, empower communities, and advance the Kingdom among the nations.
Raising Kingdom-minded believers to transform nations.
